Castro, Amanda

About the author: Amanda Castro is an Assistant Professor of Spanish in the Foreign Languages and Literatures Department at Colorado State University. She holds a PhD from the University of Pittsburgh. She is a High School teacher with a speciality in Languages and Literatures from the Escuela Superior del Profesorado in Honduras. She was named Poeta laureada from Mexico, Central America and the Caribbean, Guatemala, in 1993 for her book Celebración de mujeres.
