About the author: A native of Calcutta, India, Anupam Banerji spent ten years in the U.S., studying, teaching, consulting and exhibiting works of art and architecture, some of which won national awards. He joined the University of Waterloo’s School of Architecture in 1970 where he teaches Urban Design, Design Studios and History of Architecture of the West and the East.
