Hantman, Barbara

Barbara Hantman was educated at Queens College and Teachers College, Columbia University. After ten years of full-time teaching in challenging, mostly inner-city settings, she is now working as a substitute teacher in New York city public high schools. Her career as a poet started with a poetry writing class at New York University’s School of Continuing Education, the Washington Square Writing Center.
