Berkley, Constance E.

Dr. Constance E. Berkley received her Ph.D. from New York University. She taught African, Islamic and African American Literature and Culture in the ‘Program of African Studies’ at Vassar College, Poughkeepsie, New York. She also co-translated, edited and published a number of articles about Sudanese literature, as well as co-editing and revising a volume of Modern Sudanese Poetry. She is now retired from teaching.
