Williams, Cyril G.

About the author: Emeritus Professor Cyril G. Williams, Fellow of Cardiff University and former Dean of Divinity in the University of Wales served in the congregational ministry in Wales and London before entering academic life in 1958, when he joined the staff in the Department of Semitic Languages at Cardiff University. He was also taught at Carleton University, Ottawa, University of Wales, Aberystwyth, and finally University of Wales, Lampeter. He was awarded a Doctorate of Divinity by the University of Wales in 1993. Among his many publications, Mellen published his Basic Themes in the Comparative Study of Religion in 1992.
