Risden, Edward L.

Dr. Edward L. Risden received his Ph.D. from Purdue University and is a Professor of English at St. Norbert College in De Pere, Wisconsin. He has published more than fifteen books on the subjects varying from Beowulf and Sir Gawain and the Green Knight to Shakespeare, cinema medievalism, and the history of English epic poetry. His work includes fiction, poetry, translation, and a textbook, and he is currently the editor of The Year’s Work in Medievalism.
