About the author: Dr. Clarke is an assistant professor in the Department of Sociology at Kent State University, Salem Campus. He received his PhD in sociology from York University, Toronto. Some of his published works appeared in the Journal of Psychosocial Nursing and Mental Health Services and the International Journal of Comparative Sociology.
