About the author: Dr. Asihene was born in Ghana. After graduating from the University of Science and Technology in Kumasi, Ghana, he received his PhD in Art Education from Ohio State University. While Chairman of the Art Department at Clark Atlanta University in Atlanta, GA, he proposed and implemented a Graphic Design Program for the Art Department. Dr. Asihene's many articles have appeared in the University of Science and Technology TEK magazine, and he has also authored two books. He is currently a Professor at Clark Atlanta University.
