Dr. Fred Waage is Professor of English at East Tennessee State University. He earned his doctorate from Princeton University and has taught at Northwestern, California State University-Los Angeles, Douglass College and College Misericordia. Dr. Waage is the editor of Teaching Environmental Literature (1985) and co-editor of its second edition (2006).
