About the author: Dr. Jeffrey S. Lamp is an Adjunct Professor of Biblical Studies at Oral Roberts University in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He is a pastor in the Oklahoma Annual Conference of the United Methodist Church. He has contributed to several scholarly journals, to a volume of collected essays, and to a Bible dictionary. He received his PhD from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School, Illinois.
