Taylor, Joan

Joan Taylor is an Anglo-Danish New Zealander with wide-ranging interests who has written many books and articles on the history of religion in antiquity and archaeology, and has most recently authored a work on the Elizabethan adventurer Henry Timberlake. She is also a published poet and novelist. Dr. Taylor is Research Associate in the Department of Philosophy and Religious Studies, Waikato University, New Zealand, and Honorary Research Fellow in the History Department, University College London.
