Bower, John R. F.

About the authors: Dr. Bower received his bachelor’s degree in geology from Harvard College and master of arts and doctoral degrees in anthropology (with a specialty in archaeology) from Northwestern University. He has taught at Lake Forest College, Iowa State University, and the University of Minnesota – Duluth. He has concentrated his scholarly investigations on various aspects of human interaction with the environment in prehistoric times.

Dr. Kobusiewicz received his master of science and doctoral degrees in archaeology from Adam Mickiewicz University in Poland. He is currently Director of the Institute of Archaeology and Ethnology, Polish Academy of Science, Poznan Branch, and also teaches at Adam Mickiewicz University. His scholarly investigations have centered on prehistoric cultures of western Poland and the Nile Valley.
