Farrell, Joseph

About the author: Joseph Farrell is Senior Lecturer in Italian Studies in the University Strathclyde, Glasgow. He has written widely on Italian theatre, and translated the works of several Italian playwrights, including Dario Fo, Eduarde De Filippo, Carlo Goldoni and Alessandro Baricco. He is also theatre reviewer with The Scotsman newspaper, and broadcasts regularly with the BBC on cultural topics. He is author of a study on Leonardo Sciascia (Edinburgh University Press, 1995).
