Torres-Pou, Juan

About the author: Juan Torres-Pou studied Spanish and Catalan language and literatures at the Universitat Central de Barcelona, Spain, and received his PhD in Spanish at Rutgers. Dr. Torres-Pou is the author of El e[x]terno Femenino: Aspectos de la representacion de la mujer en la literaura latinoamericana del siglo XIX and of a series of articles on 19th and 20th century Spanish and Spanish-American literatures. He is Assistant Professor of Spanish at Florida International University, Miami.
