Norbu, Kalsang

About the authors: Kalsang Norbu, a Tibetan native, has taught Tibetan and English in Xunhua County since 1989. He holds an Associate Degree from Qinghai Education College. Karl Peet (BS, Stanford University), is a linguist and English teacher at Qinghai Junior Teacher’s College. pDal ldan bKra shis, a native of Rebgong, is one of the most qualified English-Tibetan translators in China today. Kevin Stuart received his PhD from University of Hawaii-Manoa. He has lived in China and Mongolia since 1984. His more than 100 scholarly publications address ethnographic, folkloric, and linguistic issues amongst Mongolians and minorities living in northern China. In 1998 he published Mongols in Western/American Consciousness with Mellen.
