About the author: Laura Shea Doolan, Ed.D., is Assistant Professor, St. Joseph’s College, Brooklyn, New York, and has more than 25 years teaching and administrative experience in education nationally and internationally. Dr. Shea Doolan is a learning-style specialist, has written many articles and chapters on learning styles, has received several awards for academic excellence and scholarship, and has presented her research nationally and internationally at conferences such as the United Nations Education, Scientific and Cultural Organization; the St. John’s University’s Annual Leadership Certification Institute in New York; and the European Learning Styles Information Network.
