Kuntz, Laurie

Much of Laurie Kuntz’s work is a result of her experiences and observations during the decade she spent living and working in Southeast Asian refugee camps. Currently she teaches creative writing at the University of Maryland’s Asian Division in Northern Japan. She is the author of two reading texts, The New Arrival, Books 1 & 2 (Prentice Hall). Her award-winning poetry is widely published and has appeared in The Southern Poetry Review; The Bloomsbury Review, Sow’s Ear Poetry Review, Poets On, New Virginia Review, The Contemporary Review, and others.
