Seator, Lynette

About the author: Finishing her PhD while her husband studied, she began publishing scholarly articles on Spanish and Latin American literature. Lynette Seator has traveled widely in Latin America, Europe, and Asia, and as organizer of symposia in Moscow and the US, edited a volume titled Changing Lives of Russian Women. After the death of her husband, who as a judge bore the responsibility of sentencing offenders, she went into prisons to conduct poetry workshops. As a result, she has edited and published Hear Me Out: Poems From Prison and Speaking Through the Bars: Poems by Women.
