On the other hand, it acknowledges some ways of stepping outside metaphysics from the inside. The book starts with an overview of the development of metaphysics from Aristotle to the 18th century and then interprets the modern and recent instances of overcoming metaphysics from the viewpoint of the aforementioned double perspective.
