Horn, Philip

About the author: Philip Horne received a degree in Italian and French from Oxford University. H taught Italian in Glasgow University from 1953-1959, and in Oxford as University Lecturer in Italian from 1959 to 1973. While his principal research topic has been the Renaissance theatre in Italy, his published books and articles, notably on Gabriele Rossetti and Giovanni Pascoli, reflect his interest in 19th-century Italian letters.
