Rajkishor Meher is Associate Professor of Sociology at Nabakrushna Choudhury Centre for Development Studies, India. He obtained his Ph.D. in Sociology from Jawaharlal Nehru University

The study provides an account of the adverse consequences of displacement faced by the people and their ecosystem as a whole.
