Dr. Ramón Espejo received his Ph.D. from the University of Seville. He is an Associate Professor in the Department of English and American Literature at the University of Seville, Spain.

It explores how the meanings surrounding American productions were negotiated both on the stages and outside and how American drama has impacted Spanish theater by challenging the political status quo.
