Pitruzzello, Rosy Maria
Italian Teacher and passionate of foreign languages and culture, Rosy Maria Pitruzzello was born on June 18th, 1982, in the USA from an immigrant family of Sicilian origins. After a short stay, at the age of eight, she moved to Sicily with her family and it was there that she discovered her passion for ancient cultures, the Hellenistic and Roman, and for RomanceLanguages and Culture, in general. Linguistic, literary and philological studies soon became the backbone of her university studies and she graduated in Foreign Languages and Literature, with a concentration on English and French, at the University of Catania (2006).
She later earned an MA in Italian from Central Connecticut State University (2016).
