Bradley, S.A.J.

S. A. J. Bradley received his MA degree from University College, Oxford. After several years as a lecturer in the Department of English at King’s College, London, he moved to the Department of English and Related Literature at the University of York, where he is the senior Anglo-Saxonist. He has lectured extensively in Britain, Denmark and America. His book Anglo-Saxon Poetry, a comprehensive anthology in translation with critical introduction and headnotes is widely used as a textbook in English studies across the English-speaking world. He has published mainly on early medieval literature, art and antiquities.
