Sean Burton is Director of Choral Activities at Briar Cliff University in Sioux City, Iowa. He earned the DMA in Choral Conducting from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, the MM in Conducting from Boston University, and the BM in Music Education from the University of Hartford.

The work includes documentation of the composer’s personal attributes, discussion of text-music relationships, exploration of compositional style, and practical observations for performance.
