Converse, Terry John

About the author: Dr. Converse holds an MFA in Directing from the University of Minnesota, and a PhD in Theatre Arts from the University of California at Los Angeles. Specializing in the teaching of directing, he is the author of Directing for the Stage: A Workshop Guide of Creative Exercises and Projects. He is currently an Associate Professor of Theatre in the Washing State University School of Music and Theatre Arts. In addition to directing WSU productions, he has directed works for the Long Beach Grand Opera, the Gutherie Other Place Theatre, The Arkansas Arts Center, and others.
