About the author: Thomas Scirghi is a priest of the Society of Jesus. He holds an M.Div from the Jesuit School of Theology at Berkeley, and an STL from the Weston Jesuit School of Theology. He received his doctorate from Boston University’s School of Theology. Currently he is assistant professor of Systematic Theology at Fordham University.
