How You Speak Determines How You Learn Resource Allocation and Student Achievement

This study develops a model to predict student achievement; furthers development of quality of school life models; links and predicts learning outcomes from the way one uses language. It tests Bernstein’s Theory of Language Discontinuity; develops a new causal model for school outcomes in an educational production function paradigm.
